WARNING TO TNA...IT'S TIME TO IGNORE WWE!

November 16, 2006

Tonight was the night Total Nonstop Action dreamed about for four years.  Tonight TNA moved into a prime time slot as iMPACT! went from 11 PM to it's new time slot of 9 PM.  However, the program (as of this writing) is not even an hour into it and they may have just made the biggest and dumbest mistake in wrestling history.

During the show, Kip James and BG James came out to the ring, mind you they "quit" the company just in the near recent past.  Their first words were "We're baaaaaaaaaack!"

They then announced they were back due to "Creative Control" and that they will now be known as Voodoo Kin Mafia or VKM for short.  They also announced that they were going "to war" and they would be going to war against Paul Levesque (WWE RAW Superstar, Triple H), Michael Hickenbottom (WWE RAW Superstar, Shawn Michaels) and the WWE Chairman himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon..

The reason for this "war" is due to Levesque, Hickenbottom and McMahon created a group (D-Generation X) 10 years ago and said they (Voodoo Kin Mafia) were not good enough.  However, they stepped in and "bailed them out" later.  Kip James, the man once known as Rock-A-Billy and Billy Gun, went as far to say that "The bottom line is this: we're good and you two are two of the biggest pieces of..." and before he could finish his comment, BG James grabbed the microphone and then informed McMahon that they will travel by air, land and any other means of transportation.

Now that you know what happened, I have a question to ask the creative writing department at TNA.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING?

Seriously, with the X Division Championship Match, Samoa Joe, Kurt Angle's in-ring debut and the Six-Sides of Steel Cage Match, there was no need for TNA to pull this stunt and that is all this is.

It is time that the higher-ups in Total Nonstop Action begin to forget about WWE and concentrate on themselves.  This first show was their chance to gain viewers and what they should've done was showcase their strengths.

What are TNA's strengths?  Kurt Angle.  Sting.  Samoa Joe.  Abyss.  Christian Cage.  Petey Williams.  Alex Shelley.  AMW.  Naturals.  Eric Young.  The X Division.  AJ Styles.  Christopher Daniels.  The Six-Sided Ring.  Those are just a few of the strengths.

With all of their strengths, there is no reason - absolutely no reason - why they should resort to such cheap tactics.

During the VKM segment, Kip James actually stated that they (VKM) were good.  HA HA!  Okay so we are supposed to actually believe that the men who were once known as The Roadie and Rock-A-Billy are actually better than "The King of Kings" Triple H and "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels?

In closing, I have a question for VKM.  If you guys are supposedly better than HBK and HHH, then can you please remind me how many World Heavyweight Championships you've held around your waists?  Oh that's right...ZERO!

To Total Nonstop Action, Dixie Carter and the rest of the TNA Creative Writing department, I have two words for you...IGNORE WWE!

To BG James and Kip James, I think the entire world has two words for you...LEAVE WRESTLING!
