WWE SURVIVOR SERIES 2006 PREDICTIONS

Welcome to a special edition of "The Last Word." This Sunday, WWE presents the Survivor Series only on pay-per-view. All three brands will be represented as members from RAW, Friday Night SmackDown! and ECW will be in attendance. In this column, I will present my predictions to you for all of the matches. Don't forget to visit WU Online throughout the night on Sunday for up-to-the-minute results of Survivor Series. There will be three Survivor Series Elimination Matches and three championship matches this Sunday but to start, let's discuss the non-Elimination Match which is also the non-championship match. This match is all about pride.

FIRST BLOOD MATCH:
THE UNDERTAKER V/S MR. KENNEDY

I believe this feud will come to a head this Sunday. Mr. Kennedy threw out the challenge to face The Undertaker several weeks ago on WWE.com. The challenge was accepted by the Phenom and then turned into a First Blood Match when Mr. Kennedy attacked the Phenom two times with his microphone. Last week on Friday Night SmackDown!, Kennedy attacked and drew the blood of the Phenom. Who will walk out of the fall extravaganza as the winner? I am a huge fan of both of these individuals but I have to believe that at the event where he debuted back in 1990, The Undertaker will not only be victorious but he will draw the blood of Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy!

MY PREDICTION - The Undertaker

WWE WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
LITA (CHAMPION) V/S MICKIE JAMES

The Women's Championship will be on the line as current champion, Lita defends her championship against the psycho Mickie James. This past week, Lita announced that she will be retiring after this title defense and I really cannot see the WWE allowing Lita to retain the championship, retire and force the Women's division to hold another championship tournament. Therefore, I predict that Mickie James will regain the Women's Championship.

MY PREDICTION - Mickie James (NEW CHAMP!)

WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
CHRIS BENOIT (CHAMPION) V/S CHAVO GUERRERO

Chris Benoit took the summer off due to emotional and phsyical issues but when he returned, he returned with a vengeance. Benoit, in his first week back, captured the U.S. Championship and has held the title ever since. Meanwhile, Chavo Guerrero has been making life a living hell for his former friend Rey Mysterio. Last month, Mysterio had to leave WWE due to a knee injury after he lost an "I Quit!" match to Guerrero and ever since then, Chavo has been bragging about the victory. This Sunday, the two competitors will square off for the U.S. Championship after weeks of Benoit wanting answers from Chavo and his sister-in-law, Vickie. The two Guerreros have told Benoit nothing but to keep out of their business. This could be the match that steals the show as both men can fly, wrestle and brawl. My prediction as far as the winner is noneother than Chavo Guerrero. I think he will continue the Guerrero Family Speciality of "Lyin', Stealin', and Cheatin'" to capture the U.S. Championship.

MY PREDICTION - Chavo Guerrero (NEW CHAMP!)

WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH:
KING BOOKER (CHAMPION) V/S BATISTA

Batista returns to the same arena where he relinquished the World Heavyweight Championship in January due to an injury. He has had several opportunities to win the championship since returning but has came up short every single time. This has just gave King Booker even more confidence as he feels he's already proven his superiority over The Animal. If you put all of that into account, there's only one real logical choice for a prediction...BATISTA! He's been jerked around long enough and now it's time to take back what's rightfully his!

MY PREDICTION - Batista (NEW CHAMP!)

WWE SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION MATCH:
RIC FLAIR, DUSTY RHODES, SGT. SLAUGHTER & THE SPIRIT SQUAD

It's the WWE Legends versus the stars of tomorrow as Ric Flair leads his team of Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter and Ron Simmons into battle against The Spirit Squad's Kenny, Johnny, Nicky and Mikey. The only time The Spirit Squad has been able to take a victory over any of the Legends is when they've cheated. Therefore, my prediction is Team Flair.

MY PREDICTION - Ric Flair's Team

WWE SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION MATCH:
JOHN CENA, KANE, BOBBY LASHLEY, SABU & ROB VAN DAM V/S THE BIG SHOW, UMAGA, TEST, MVP & FINLAY

John Cena is leading his team into battle against the ECW World Champion's team. All three brands are represented in this match and there are individual feuds wrapped up into one giant match. This could go either way in reality but I feel Cena's team will pull out the victory some how.

MY PREDICTION - Team Cena

WWE SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION MATCH:
D-GENERATION X, THE HARDY BOYZ & CM PUNK V/S RATED RKO, JOHNNY NITRO, MIKE KNOX & GREGORY HELMS

More history will be made in this one single match than any other match at Survivor Series. This will be the first pay-per-view since 2002 that will feature Jeff and Matt Hardy - The Hardy Boyz. They will team up with DX who will make their first appearance at Survivor Series as a tag team since joining back in 1997. This will also feature the Survivor Series debuts of CM Punk and Mike Knox. This match, like the others, is full of feuds and questions. Who will eliminate who between DX and the World Tag Team Champions, Rated RKO? Can Johnny Nitro and Gregory Helms eliminate their rivals The Hardy Boyz? It's obvious Mike Knox's girlfriend, Kelly, wants to be with CM Punk. Can Knox extract revenge from Punk? But the main question is WHO will end up being the sole surivors? In my opinion, it will be Team DX.
