BREAKING NEWS: TRIPLE H INJURED! BATISTA ALSO INJURED??? |
Before I copy/paste the article from WWE.com regarding Triple H being injured at
the pay-per-view, I attended the SmackDown/ECW Supershow in Muncie, Indiana and
it is very possible that Batista is also injured. During the main event,
Batista was thrown into the stairs outside of the ring and when he was thrown
back into the ring, he grabbed his left knee and the referee, after talking to
him, displayed the "X" signal. Now, I believe there is a strong chance that
this was just an angle because when the trainer and other referees came to check
on Batista, the trainer was attacked by the World Heavyweight Champion's opponent.
Batista continued on with the match but did seem a little sore and
limped the rest of the night. So it's quite possible Batista just worked
an "injury" but at this point, nothing is certain. The review/results
page of tonight's house show is being created as we report right now. On to Triple H's injury... The Game was taken to a local medical facility in Kansas City, where an MRI will be performed. At this time, WWE doctor Ferdinand Rios says they are uncertain if the injury is to Triple H's knee or quad. Stay tuned to WWE.com as more information is made available.
