June 24, 2007 Houston, Texas Toyota Center WWE World Tag Team Champions, Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch defeated The Hardys when Cade pinned Jeff to retain the championship. WWE Cruiserweight Champion, Chavo Guerrero pinned Jimmy Wang Yang to retain the championship. After CM Punk walked to the ring, it was announced that Chris Benoit was not at the arena due to personal reasons. Taking his place would be Johnny Nitro who pinned CM Punk to win the vacant ECW World Championship. Umaga defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion, Santino Marella via disqualification. WWE U.S. Champion, "MVP" Montel Vontavious Porter pinned "Nature Boy" Ric Flair to retain the championship. WWE Tag Team Champions, Deuce 'N' Domino defeated Sgt. Slaughter & Jimmy"Superfly"Snuka when Deuce pinned Snuka, to retain the championship. Batista defeated World Heavyweight Champion, Edge via disqualification but SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long, came out and restarted the match. He added a stipulation where if Edge is disqualified, he would lose the championship. In the end it was Edge beating Batista via count-out. Per the match stipulations, Batista will be unable to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship as long as Edge holds it. Candice Michelle pinned WWE Women's Champion, Melina to win the championship. WWE Heavyweight Champion, John Cena pinned Mick Foley to defeat Foley, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and King Booker to retain the championship.
