23! It is the biggest event in the sports-entertainment industry. It only happens once a year and only the best are invited to participate. It is...WRESTLEMANIA! WrestleMania 23 takes place THIS SUNDAY only on pay-per-view. It will air live from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. With each year comes a new event and a batch of predictions. With that said, let's get to my predictions for WWE WrestleMania 23: All Grown Up! WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - BATISTA (C) V/S THE UNDERTAKER: For several weeks it has been a battle of mind games and revenge between the two leaders on SmackDown. This match came to reality when 'Taker defeated 29 other Superstars to win the 30-man Royal Rumble match in January. 'Taker is 14-0 when it comes to WrestleMania so this match actually comes down to the Streak versus the Championship. I don't see the streak ending at this point in time. Therefore, the winner of this match and NEW WWE World Heavyweight Champion...THE UNDERTAKER! PREDICTION - THE UNDERTAKER (NEW CHAMP!) WWE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH - JOHN CENA (C) V/S SHAWN MICHAELS: They are the World Tag Team Champions and this Sunday, they are going to go one-on-one for the WWE Heavyweight Championship. HBK has made it to the big show before and infact, captured his very first WWE Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XII. For the past two WrestleManias, Cena has stood tall as the Heavyweight Champion. However, I think at the end of the night "The Showstoppah, the Main Event, the Headliner" will be reigning as Heavyweight Champion! PREDICTION - SHAWN MICHAELS (NEW CHAMP!) |
