FOLEY IS GOOD...AND THE REAL WORLD IS FAKER THAN PRO-WRESTLING!
Book By: Mick Foley
Mr. Foley starts off his third book where he ended with his first one, Have A Nice Day. Wrestling fans and non-fans with enjoy this tale of a man being divided between the WWF and his family. The sequel autobiography travels the road of a man winning the WWF Heavyweight Championship for a total of three times to becoming WWF Commissioner.

Foley comes across as not only a legend in sports-entertainment but also a very educated, intelligent, and sensitive man who is loyal to his family, his job, his fans, and his beliefs. Foley Is Good... is truly good with a chairshot of entertainment and bodyslamming laughter.

One aspect of this book that I greatly enjoyed was the descriptive manner in which Foley told stories. While reading, I was able to picture these stories in my mind. This is a skill some authors are unable to master and Foley has mastered this unique talent. Foley's words are very imageful words. Sadly, I was even picturing the story he told about Christmas 1999. :-)

There is one part of Foley Is Good... that made me proud to be a writer and a member of the sports-entertainment world. Foley defended the world of wrestling by facts, statistics, and honesty. He "battled" critics and the PTC by being unbiased and polite. He is a skillful writer, wrestler, and a very intelligent individual.

Foley Is Good... not only showed a man's decision to retire or continue life on the world but also showed that wrestlers may be strong physically but they also have feelings. Perhaps the last paragraph summed up Mick Foley as a person the best.

I am a thirty-five-year-old man with a wife and three children who has done his best to entertain for sixteen years through a strange blend of blood, sweat, tears, black ink, and bad jokes. I may not be perfect, and I'm certainly not God, but neither am I the poisoner of minds or the killer of children. I am Mick Foley, and Foley is...Good.
