     The newest wrestling video game to hit the market is WWE SmackDown VS RAW 2007. It is available on Playstation 2, Xbox 360 and PSP. Every year I think the newest WWE game is the best game ever but after spending a month playing WWE SmackDown VS RAW 2007, I truly believe this IS the best game ever.

     There are several different ways to have fun! There is Exhibition Mode, Season Mode, General Manager Mode, Pay-Per-View Mode and Online Mode.

     In Exhibition Mode, there are the following match types: Single, Tag Team, Triple Threat, Fatal 4-Way, Handicap, Royal Rumble, Main Events and Title Match. Under Main Events there are the following match types: Backstage Brawls, Battle Royal, Buried Alive Match, Elimination Chamber, First Blood, Hardcore, Hell in a Cell, Ironman, Ladder, Last Man Standing, Special Referee, Steel Cage, Submission, Table, TLC and Money In The Bank.

     If you want to be a champion or try to become a champion without playing the Season Mode, you can try out the Title Matches Mode. In the WWE Championship section, you can fight for the World Heavyweight, Heavyweight, Tag Team, World Tag Team, Intercontinental, United States, Cruiserweight or Women's Championship. You can also fight for The Million $ Championship, Hardcore Championship and Smoking Skull Championship once you unlock them.

     The roster is also probably one of the most in-depth rosters in the game's history. In addition to the RAW and SmackDown! rosters, you can play as a Legend. Hulk Hogan, Bam Bam Bigelow, Hart Foundation, Roddy Piper, Mr. Perfect and more Legendary wrestlers are included in this year's game.

     There are only a few negatives that I was able to think of. The first and only major negative is one that I'm sure is on the minds of many fans. While gamers have the arena for ECW One Night Stand, there were no ECW wrestlers. No Paul Heyman, no CM Punk, no ECW World Championship. The lack of ECW was a major negative in my opinion.

     Another negative is the fact that there are certain wrestlers not playable and/or are not season playable like The Great Khali. It would be nice for the next game to allow you to play as the general managers, the announcers, and the referees either in season or exhibition mode.

     Overall, SmackDown VS RAW 2007 is a great game despite the few negatives and is a must-have for any gamer or wrestling fan!
