The man who wrestled in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) as EarthQuake has passed away. John Tenta competed for WWE from 1989 to 1994 as EarthQuake and then worked for WCW from 1994 to 1996. Then returned to WWE under a mask and named Golga who had a fixation with "Kenny" from South Park as part of The Oddities from 1998 to 1999. In 2001 at WrestleMania X-Seven, he participated in the Gimmick Battle Royal as Earthquake. He revealed to the Internet world that he had advanced bladder cancer in May 2004. On August 17, 2004, he announced without treatment, he would only have 13 to 18 months to live. In November 2005, he said chemo-therapy didn't work on the tumor in his hip and was growing larger. He revealed he had four large tumors on his lungs and was told the chance of "long term survival" was 10% to 20%. His battle with cancer ended Wednesday, June 7, when he passed away Friendswood, Texas. He was 42.
